Already weigh in on a smart scale? Turn the readings into a trend and a forecast
A connected scale is good at one thing: recording a number every time you step on it. After a few months you have a long list of weigh-ins — and a list is not an answer. It does not tell you whether you are on track, what is driving the change, or when you will reach the next milestone. This is the gap LyteFast is built to fill, without asking you to type anything in.
The problem with a list of weigh-ins
Daily weight moves around for reasons that have little to do with body fat — the salt in last night's dinner, water, the timing of a meal. Read one day at a time, a weigh-in history swings between good news and bad news. Read as a trend, the same data tells a calmer and more useful story.
The catch is that most people stop logging once it becomes a chore. If your weigh-ins already land somewhere automatically, the hardest part of tracking is done. What is missing is the layer that turns them into a decision.
What LyteFast does with your weigh-ins
- Syncs them for you. Weigh-ins from a connected scale, plus steps and workouts from your fitness tracker, arrive through Apple Health with no manual entry — and LyteFast can now read your complete Apple Health weigh-in history, so years of past readings count from day one. (Free)
- Shows the trend, not just the points. The Auto-Zoom chart focuses on the most relevant slice of your journey and sits beside a %-to-goal gauge on one screen. (Free)
- Projects where the trend is heading. The weight forecast gives milestone dates from 15 days out to a year, projected from your own trend line rather than a generic formula. (Base Access)
- Explains what is driving it. The calorie deficit view shows your daily deficit or surplus against target, the activity view charts burned calories against your target across the period, and fasting insights show logged fasting windows feeding back into the forecast. (Base Access)
- Makes progress easy to share. Any dashboard card can become a clean summary image for Messages or Instagram. (Free)
A scale app versus LyteFast
You do not have to choose. Keep using your scale and its own app the way you do now; LyteFast reads the weigh-ins once they are in Apple Health and adds the parts a scale cannot see on its own — what you ate, how active you were, when you fasted — to explain the line.

Getting started
- Install LyteFast from the App Store and allow it to read weight and activity from Apple Health.
- Let your existing weigh-in history load — the trend chart fills in from your past readings.
- Set a goal so the %-to-goal gauge and, with Base Access, the forecast have something to aim at.
- Keep weighing in as usual. Nothing else changes in your routine.
